前レッスンでコンディションを正しく選びました。本レッスンでは 商品説明文（Description）を扱います。Description は (a) タイトルでヒット、(b) 写真でクリック、までさせたバイヤーが 最終的に「買うか買わないか」を決める場所。同時に SNAD クレームを未然に防ぐ唯一の保険でもあります。テンプレを作っておけば 1 件 5 分で書ける。

⚠️ 5. 避けるべき記述
Canon AE-1 のシャッターは 横走り布幕フォーカルプレーン（horizontal cloth focal plane）であり、垂直チタンではありません。テンプレに「vertical titanium shutter」とあったらコピペ前に確認してください。同様に シリアル番号と製造年の対応は機種ごとに異なるため、Camera-Wiki などの非公式集計を参照しつつ、本文では「Approximately produced in early 1980s based on serial number」のような 留保表現で書くのが安全です。

使えますが シンプルな HTML だけに留めるのが今の eBay 仕様。<p>・<b>・<ul>・<br>・<hr> 程度なら OK。JavaScript / iframe / 外部画像参照は eBay の Active Content 規制でブロックされます。テンプレの装飾は控えめにして、テキストの構造化（箇条書き・改行）で見やすくする方向で。
Google Docs からのコピペは 不要なスタイル属性が混入するのが原因。対策は (1) Docs から 「プレーンテキストとして貼り付け」（Mac: Cmd+Shift+V / Win: Ctrl+Shift+V）、(2) eBay の出品フォームの 「HTML view」に切り替えて手動で整形、(3) シンプルな HTML テンプレ（<b> と <br> のみ）でテキスト編集。Word / Outlook も同様の問題が出ます。
セクション構成は共通でいいですが、Condition Details セクションだけは個体ごとに必ず書き換えてください。これは個体差があるカメラ・レンズで「全部同じ」だと SNAD クレームの温床。「Body / Viewfinder / Shutter / Light Meter / Mirror」のチェック項目は固定し、各項目の状態だけ差し替えるのが効率的。
透明性訴求のため書くのがベター、ただし 末尾を伏せるのが安全策。例：「Serial Number: 12345xxx」。完全な番号を書くと 偽造品出品時の番号窃取のリスクがあるため、末尾 3〜4 桁は伏せて、購入後にバイヤーに完全番号を伝える運用も。Leica などの高額品は特にこの方法を推奨。
入れていいです。日本セラーの個性として一文添えるのは好印象。ただし 日本語だけのセクションを長く書かない。「Thank you for visiting our listing!（ご覧いただきありがとうございます）」のように 英語＋日本語併記が一番無難。日本語だけだと米国バイヤーは読み飛ばすので、効果は限定的。
影響はほぼ無し。タイトルや主要 Item Specifics の編集は Best Match スコアに影響しますが、Description の編集はアルゴリズム的に中立。誤字発見・追加情報の補足はいつでも編集して OK。ただし「写真と本文の整合性」を保つことは重要なので、写真追加時は Description も合わせて更新するのが理想です。
